SAT I and SAT II exams are taken by candidates who aspire to study abroad and it is a gateway to a college, scholarships, financial aid, etc. Students often take the SAT in the spring of 11th standard and again in the fall of 12th standard. Scholastic Assessment Test also known as SAT I is an aptitude test which assesses the candidates learning on Reading/Writing, and Mathematics. It is globally recognized and guides undergraduate institutions to check the academic strength of the applicant for various courses.

Why Test Scores Are Important
When you study abroad with Mission Career, and are planning to pursue your Masters in the future, you will have to take the SAT exam. The Significance of these scores vary from university to university. Incidentally, different graduate schools have different prerequisites when it comes to SAT exam scores. For some schools, it is the first obstruction for them to consider your application. For example, some universities may say, “If you don’t score above 1400 in your SAT EXAM then we will not consider your application at all “Other few schools may capitalize on the SAT exam as a tie-breaker to prefer you over other similar applicants. Most schools however, will add your SAT exam scores into an SAT exam evaluation algorithm that considers different aspects of your application. Some Universities might give more importance to the Reading/Writing, over Mathematics or vice versa, others may consider your inclusive score of your SAT exam, and would not give importance to what you score in each section etc. however, intending to score well needs to be your aim to get into the top universities.

90% of our students got their desired results in their SAT exam with an average improvement of 15.45 points in SAT. 85% of our student got above 160 in the Quants Section and 98% got above 150 in the verbal section of SAT.
How Is SAT scored?
Prior to March, 2016, the exam was scored out of 2400 points : 200-800 points for Critical Reading, 200-800 points for Mathematics, and 200-800 points for Writing. An average score had been roughly 500 points per subject area for a total of 1500.
With the redesign of the exam in 2016, the Writing section is now optional, and the exam is scored out of 1600 points (as it had been back before the Writing section had become a required component of the exam). You can earn 200 to 800 points for the Reading / Writing section of the exam, and 800 points for the Math section.
When is the SAT offered?
The SAT exam can be taken seven times a year – January, March, May, June, October, November and December. The October, May, and June dates are the most popular–many students take the exam once in the spring of junior year, and then again in October of senior year. For seniors, October is often the last exam that will be taken for early decision applications.
How much time does the exam take?
The exam takes a total of 3 hours without the optional essay. There are 154 questions, so you’ll have 1 minute and 10 seconds per question (by comparison, the ACT has 215 questions and you’ll have 49 seconds per question). With the essay, the SAT takes 3 hours and 50 minutes.
